Ncdex Tips - Coriander rises on strong buying interest as on 14 July, 2015

Ncdex Tips - Coriander prices rose by 0.67 % on Tuesday at the National Commodity & Derivatives Exchange Limited (NCDEX) as a result of the limited stocks on account of  narrow coming from the major increase belts. At the NCDEX, coriander futures for this July 2015     concord, was trading at Rs. 11,624 per quintal, up by 0.67 %  after staring at Rs. 11,525  opposite the back stopper price of Rs. 11,547. It join the intra-day top of Rs. 11,725 till the trading. (Today At 11.45 AM ).

Sentiment better further as the investors grow their holdings tracking the surge in the need for the commodity.

Coriander is normal in South Asian,  Mediterranean, Tex-Mex, Latin American, Middle Eastern, ,Portuguese, Scandinavian cuisineand Chinese, Central Asian, Indian and African,

Moderate weather outlook grip back Natural Gas as on 07 july, 2015

Natural Gas futures retire in the home market on Monday as investors and speculators exited positions in the energy commodity as forecasts for moderate July heat across parts of the US curbed the demand outlook for the weather-sensitive fuel as need for gas-fired cooling demand by power plants diminishes.

The Commodity Weather Group LLC predicted more seasonal temperatures in the US East Coast through July 20, 2015.

Natural gas is used for cooling reason by about 49 % of American households.

At the MCX, Natural Gas futures for July 2015 contract closed at Rs 175.70 per 1 kg, down by 0.23 per cent after start at Rs 175.50, against the back closing price of Rs 176.10. It touched the intra-day low of Rs 174.10 till the closing.

Base metal tips of 19th January 2015

Copper prices rose by 0.17 per cent on Friday at the domestic markets. At the MCX, copper futures for February 2015 contract were trading at Rs.352.80 per 1 kg, up by 0.17 per cent, after opening at Rs. 353.50 against the
previous closing price of Rs. 352.20. It touched the intra-day high of Rs. 355.20 till the trading.

LEAD
Lead prices rose by 1.37 per cent on Friday at the domestic markets as a result of high demand for the commodity from battery-maker in the spot market in the midst of strong overseas trend.
At the MCX, Lead futures, for the January 2015 contract, is trading at Rs 110.60 per kg, up by 1.37 per cent, after opening at Rs 109.50, against a previous close of Rs 109.10. It touched an intra-day high of Rs 109.50 till the trading.

MUSTARD SEED
Mustard Seed prices closed lower by 0.52 percent on Wednesday at the National Commodity & Derivatives Exchange Limited (NCDEX) as a result of the profit booking by the traders on account of the weak crushing and export demand of mustard meal.

At the NCDEX, Mustard Seed futures for January 2015 contract closed at Rs. 4,054 per quintal, down by 0.52 percent, after opening at Rs. 4,082 against the previous closing price of Rs. 4,075. It touched the intra-day low of Rs. 4,034 

DHANIYA
Coriander prices rose by 2.71 percent on Thursday at the National Commodity & Derivatives Exchange Limited (NCDEX) as a result of the limited stocks on account of restricted arrivals from the major growing belts. 

At the NCDEX, coriander futures for January 2015 contract was trading at Rs. 11,899 per quintal, up by 2.71 per cent after opening at Rs. 11,740 against the previous closing price of Rs. 11,585. It touched the intra-day high of Rs. 11,900 till the trading.

7th January 2015 Update Report On Agro Outlook

CASTOR SEED
Castorseed prices fell by 0.46 per cent on Tuesday at the National Commodity & Derivatives Exchange Limited (NCDEX) as a result of fresh supply of the commodity in the major mandies as well as strong production estimates. 

At the NCDEX, castor seed futures for January 2015 contract was trading at Rs. 4,925 per quintal tonnes, down by 0.46 percent, after opening at Rs. 4,933 against the previous closing price of Rs. 4,925. It touched the intra-day low of Rs. 4,917 till the trading.

CHANA
Chana prices closed lower by 0.69 per cent on Monday at the National Commodity & Derivatives Exchange Limited (NCDEX) as a result of the steady sowing progress of pulses along with high supplies in major producing states. 

At the NCDEX, chana futures for January 2015 contract closed at Rs. 3,468 per quintal, down by 0.69 percent, after opening at Rs. 3,490 against the previous closing price of Rs. 3,492. It touched the intra-day low of Rs. 3,450. India is the largest producer of chickpea followed by Pakistan, Turkey and Iran. India produces around 6 to 8 million tonnes and contributes around 70 percent of the total world production.

At the MCX, Zinc futures for December 2014 contract closed at Rs 137.30 per 1 kg, down by 0.11 per cent after opening at Rs 137.55, against the previous closing price of Rs 137.45. It touched the intra-day low of Rs 136.85 till the closing.

CRUDE OIL

Crude oil futures prices rose by 1.38 percent to Rs 3,599 per barrel today as speculators created positions amid a firm trend in Asia. At the Multi Commodity Exchange, ( MCX) crude oil for delivery in January gained Rs 49, or 1.38 percent, to Rs 3,599 per barrel, with a business turnover of 2,104 lots. The oil for the February delivery moved up by Rs 47, or 1.30 percent, to Rs 3,650 per barrel, with a business volume of 77 lots.

At the MCX, Natural Gas futures for December 2014 contract closed at Rs 201.50 per 1 kg, down by 9 percent after opening at Rs 219.5, against the previous closing price of Rs 221.4. It touched the intra-day low of Rs 197.3 till the closing.
 

COPPER



A leading economic index for China climbed at a quicker pace in November, up 0.9 percent from the previous month, when it rose 0.8 percent, easing concerns over a slowdown in the world’s biggest metals consumer, supporting copper. At the MCX, Copper futures for February 2015 contract is trading at Rs 406.75 per 1 kg, down by 0.01 per cent after opening at Rs 406.10, against the previous closing price of Rs 406.80. It touched the intra-day low of Rs 406.10 till the closing.

GOLD


Gold futures fell in the domestic market on Monday as a stronger rupee against the US dollar more than offset the gains seen in the precious metal in the overseas market. An appreciation in the Indian currency exerts downward pressure on domestic bullion prices. A weaker dollar boosted the demand for Gold as an alternative asset, pushing Gold futures higher in the overseas market. Meanwhile, signs of a pickup in physical demand for Gold also boosted sentiment as Swiss gold imports climbed to the highest level in a year. At the MCX, Gold futures for February 2015 contract is trading at Rs 26,935 per 10 gram, down by 0.23 percent after opening at Rs 26,965, against the previous closing price of Rs 26,998. It touched the intra-day low of Rs 26,935 till the closing.

Jeera prices closed higher by 2.59 percent on Thursday at the National Commodity & Derivatives Exchange Limited (NCDEX) as the investors increased their holdings in the commodity in the midst limited arrivals from growing regions. At the NCDEX, jeera futures for December 2014 contract closed at Rs. 13,250 per quintal, up by 2.59 percent, after opening at Rs. 13,000 against the previous closing price of Rs. 12,915. It touched the intra-day high of Rs. 13,250. Global output of Jeera is around 2.2 lakh MT per year, of which India produces about 1.5 lakh MT per year.
