At the MCX, copper futures for February 2015 contract were trading at Rs.381.45 per 1 kg, down by 1.05 percent, after opening at Rs. 385.05 against the previous closing price of Rs. 385.50. It touched the intra-day low of Rs. 381.40 till the trading.

Crude oil futures rose by Rs 26 to Rs 3,135 per barrel today as speculators created positions amid a firm trend in Asia.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude oil for delivery in February gained Rs 26, or 0.84 per cent, to Rs 3,135 per barrel with a business turnover of 569 lots. The oil for January delivery was up by Rs 23, or 0.75 per cent, to Rs 3,078 per barrel, with a business volume of 4,826 lots.
