Coriander
prices rose by 4 percent on Monday at the National Commodity &
Derivatives
Exchange Limited (NCDEX) as a result of the limited
stocks on account of restricted arrivals
from the major growing
belts. At the NCDEX dhaniya (coriander) futures for April 2015
contract was
trading at Rs. 6,429 per quintal, up by 4 per cent
after opening at Rs. 6,340 against the previous
closing price of Rs.
6,182. It touched the intra-day high of Rs. 6,429 till the trading.
Castor
Seed prices rose by 0.33 percent on Monday at the National
Commodity & Derivatives
Exchange Limited (NCDEX) as a result of
the rise in demand from consuming industries against
restricted
arrivals in domestic markets which in turn encouraged the investors
to enlarge their
holdings. At the NCDEX, castor seed futures for
March 2015 contract were trading at Rs. 3,701
per quintal tonnes, up
by 0.33 percent, after opening at Rs. 3,711 against the previous
closing
price of Rs. 3,689. It touched the intra-day high of Rs.
3,739 till the trading.
