Mentha Oil: The
prices of mentha oil future fell at the domestic commodity market on
Thursday on excessive
supplies of the commodity from the producing
areas against reduced demand for the commodity. Sentiment
declined further as traders engaged in offloading positions on
account of weak demand from
consuming industries and lower arrivals from Chandausi in Uttar
Pradesh. At MCX, Mentha oil
futures for February 2015 contract, at MCX, were trading at Rs.
762.50 per kg, down by 0.26 per cent
after opening at Rs. 764.10 against the previous closing price of
Rs. 764.50. It touched the
intra-day low of Rs. 761.10 till the trading.
Jeera:
Jeera prices were trading up on Thursday(11.25 am) at the National
Commodity & Derivatives
Exchange Limited (NCDEX). Overall lower
sowing area in Gujarat and Rajasthan and expected
fall in production
are likely to keep Bullish sentiments intact as exports rise in
mandis. Jeera
March contract rose by 0.55 per cent to 14615 at
NCDEX. Jeera March contract is likely to trade
bullish for short
term and side ways for intra day.“Short term support seen at 14200
and resistance at 15100.
Intra day support is seen at 14350 and resistance at 14500.
