Gold prices fell by 0.41 percent on Wednesday at the domestic markets though physical demand prospects offered some support in India and China as weaker prices attracted jewelry makers.

Gold futures for February 2015 contract, at MCX, were trading at Rs. 26,944 per 10 grams, down by 0.41 percent after opening at Rs. 27,020 against the previous closing price of Rs. 27,055. It touched the intra-day low of Rs. 26,901 till the trading.
