CARDAMOM

Cardamom prices rose by 0.52 per cent on Friday at the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) on account of good buying support from both exporters and upcountry buyers and also on hopes of improved export demand. At MCX, Cardamom futures for December 2014 contract were trading at Rs 793.50 per kg, up by 0.52 per cent, after opening at Rs. 789.40 against the previous closing price of Rs. 789.40. It touched the intra-day high of Rs. 799.40 till the trading. (At 10.36 AM today).

 

MENTHA OIL

Mentha oil prices fell by 0.35 per cent on Friday at the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) as a result of the increased arrivals of the commodity in the physical market from the major producing belts in Uttar Pradesh. At MCX, Mentha oil futures for November 2014 contract, at MCX, were trading at Rs 680 per kg, down by 0.35 per cent after opening at Rs. 683 against the previous closing price of Rs. 682.40. It touched the intra-day low of Rs. 679.40 till the trading. (At 2.45 PM today).
